Dr. Nicholas Pham | Pediatric Physician
I received my baccalaureate and medical degree from the University of Kansas in 1997. Rock Chalk Jayhawks!!! I completed my residency at St. Joseph's Medical Center here in Phoenix in 2000. I am a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. I have been practicing pediatrics in Surprise, AZ since 2003.
As a pediatrician, I feel that it is my job to give parents medical advice on care for their child's development and physical well-being. Ultimately, I believe it is the parent's choice to follow my advice. Occasionally, I am reminded that doctors "practice" medicine because I will not always have the answers, but I am dedicated to learning through reading journals, continuing education seminars and correspondence with my colleagues.
I married my high school sweetheart and have 2 wonderful children, Ben and Emme. They are my pride and joy. Ben always has a huge smile on his face and Emme is full of sass.
Daryl R. Marcelo, D.O. | Pediatric Physician
Hello! I am Dr. Daryl Marcelo. I was born in Thailand, but was raised in Orange County, CA. I attended the University of California, Irvine and graduated with Bachelor's degrees in Biology and Psychology. I was able to realize my lifelong dream of becoming a physician and graduated from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. I always had a special interest in pediatrics due to my own relationship with my pediatrician, and my decision to become a pediatrician was reaffirmed during my rotations in medical school.
I moved to Phoenix, AZ in 2004 for my pediatrics residency at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. I finished residency in 2008, after a year of serving as Chief Resident for the Pediatrics Residency Program. I am a Board Certified Pediatrician and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Despite my degrees, my greatest educational training in pediatrics started when I became a mother. My passion for caring for children has grown through the experiences my husband and I have shared in raising our daughters.
I look forward to meeting you and your family and to providing the best possible medical care to my patients at Surprise Pediatrics.
Tiffany R. Anderson, PA | Physician Assistant
Hi! My name is Tiffany Anderson. I was born and raised in Ohio. I knew from a young age that I wanted to work in Pediatric Medicine.
I attended Bowling Green State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Health Sciences.
Before moving to Arizona, to further my education I attended Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona and graduated in 2009 with a Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. I was lucky enough to have additional pediatric rotations during my clinical year and this confirmed that Pediatrics was where I was meant to be.
When I am not at work I am with my son, Nathaniel. Whether we are reading books at home or going to the park to play I make sure to make the most of the time I have with him. In my spare time I enjoy swimming, baking, and although I live in Arizona now, I am still a Cleveland sports fan at heart and take any chance I get to watch a game.
I am excited to start at Surprise Pediatrics and I look forward to meeting you and your family.
